Barcode Scanner and QR Reader App Reviews

There seems to be no support for the camera, so I used Photo Booth first to get a picture of the QR code, copy/paste to Preview, saved it, opened it in this app, told it toread the code, but it did not find the code. NOTHING. Very disappointing.

You can read scanned image but cant copy that data.

Not flashy, not even in any sense pretty, just functional. A tool, not a toy. The only reason I cant give it 5 stars is that I cant confirm that it does everything it seems capable of as well as it does the simple recognition Ive tried.

Tested as PDF 417 reader. No need to download anything else. Thanks!

…but you can’t interact with the text it produces. so if you want to scan a QR code, you’re sol if it contains a return carriage or is verry long as you’ll have to read it and then type it out by hand.

Pretty useless since there’s no way to copy the numbers from the result column.
